About Us |
|
The Oasis Disco has been around for many years owned and run by Ben Jeffes who has now gone to live and work in Australia, for those unfortunates who have been left behind comes the new Oasis Disco!
Jono Pearce Jono has spent much of his working life as a DJ, starting out in hospital radio when he was 15 years old volunteering and Hospital Radio Medway and a few years later moving to Radio North Kent in Gravesend, where he presented the Chart Show and a Request show, he also became part of the committee.
In 1997 Jono set up his first Mobile Disco called DiscoTech 2000 where he worked at various venues in North Kent and provided many functions for birthdays, weddings and functions! During this time he worked with Adrian Barrell.
In 2000 Jono left the world of Disco's behind as he moved to Surrey to follow a new career path, but in 2008, he is back bigger and meaner than ever!! And boy is he looking forward to it!
Brian McKeon The happy go lucky Irishman McKeon is the inspiration behind the re-launch of the "Oasis Disco". He is also the brains most of the equipment you will see at one of our events, maintaining much of the lighting and sound equipment used. If you think I haven't said enough about him, you are right! However when I asked Brian, for once he didn't have much to say (which makes a change for Brian, you normally can’t keep him quiet!) Brian however did say that "He is not the cheese boy! That's Jono’s job!!" |
